Nope, we don’t sell pet food so don’t worry about buying. Nibbles & Eats is a resource for pet owners, by pet owners, in order to help you make great decisions about your pet’s nutrition.
For a pelleted hamster food, Science Selective Complete Hamster Food has a good protein level. Fat is also good. Fiber is a little low. Of course, variety is nil since this is a pelleted food and will not encourage foraging behaviors well. If you are looking for a pellet hamster food, this one will provide good nutrition if supplemented with some additional fiber. There are no artificial colors or added sugar.

Feeding Instructions
The average adult hamster will require 1/5-1/3 oz/day of Science Selective Complete Hamster. Fresh water should always be available. Please store in a cool dry place. Transition Instructions If you are feeding Selective to your hamsters for the first time, make sure you change from one food to another, gradually over 7-14 days. At first, you should mix a small amount of Selective with your hamster’s current food, slowly decreasing the old diet, whilst gradually increasing the quantity of Selective. A sudden change in diet can cause digestive upsets – even when you are changing to a better quality diet – so take care! If your hamsters are used to a sugary diet, you may find it takes them a while to change, but persevere as it will help to benefit their health in the long term. And don’t forget fresh water! Your hamsters should have an unlimited supply at all times.
