Unfortunately, there are artificial colors that keep it from being a highly-recommended award winner for us. Fortunately, these artificial colors are not known to be dangerous to our furry friends.This is a great all-around food for hamsters and gerbils. As it is with all hamster foods under 20% protein, young (<6 months), pregnant, or nursing hamsters are suggested to have supplemental protein added to their diet.

Feeding Instructions
Feed 1-2 Tbsp daily per hamster or gerbil. Adjust accordingly based on consumption. Always provide fresh drinking water with each feeding. Clean food dish, removing hulls before refilling.
