Feeding Instructions

Chinchillas eat most of their food during the night so ensure fresh food and clean water are always available. Supplemental food items may be provided, but should be less than 20% of the total diet. We recommend supplementing with high quality grass hay and limited vegetables and fruits. Thoroughly wash feeding and watering bowls on a regular basis. It is always good practice to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling pets. This diet is not for human consumption.
